All about Netheravon All Saints’
Netheravon All Saints’ Church has Saxon origins and was ‘sympathetically’ restored in 1889. A ‘Way Forward Project’ is underway, to enhance the church building and provide more for the community. A dais has been installed, pews have been removed from the back of the church to make room for ‘social’ gatherings. A toilet and kitchenette have also been installed (at the back of the Church) and further plans include a new West Door, re-decoration and refurbishment of the set of six bells. An active team of bell-ringers rings at the morning and evening services. Music for these services is provided by a group of musicians, the exact combination varies according to availability!
There is a strong attendance of families from throughout the Team and beyond for Family services, which also provides a Sunday School and Crèche.
The Church runs a number of fund-raising and social events, including an Annual Fete, a Christmas Fair in the Church, a sponsored Dog Walk and Breakfast and concerts in the Church. The PCC has a small membership of seven but many other helpers are involved in the running of the church.
