FODAS - Friends of Durrington All Saints

The upkeep of the church is entrusted to the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of Durrington All Saints. As is the want of similar organisations, money is always short and with rising maintenance costs, that money has to go even further. Because of this concern for the fabric of the church and lack of resources if was decided to set up an organisation, separate from the Diocese and the PCC. There are many reasons why people do not physically attend church services on a regular basis but they still wish to support the church. FODAS was established in 1998 with the following objective:
"to advance the Christian religion in particular but not exclusively through the provision of maintenance, repair, restoration, preservation, improvement, beautifying and reconstruction for the benefit of the public the Church of Durrington All Saints its monuments, fixtures, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels and its churchyard."
